Ready for a Burpee Challenge?? Everybody has a love/hate relationship with burpees…but that’s only because burpees are an amazing exercise with so many variations! It’s an exercise I often go to when I’m looking for a quick, yet super effective burnout workout. Are you ready to give this one a try?
Here’s the breakdown: 35s/15s X 3 rounds = 20 minutes
- Burpees with 5 mountain climbers
- Decline pushups
- Burpees with a tuck jump
- Russian twist
- Burpees with 2 jump squats
- Side plank – right
- Burpees with a star jump
- Side plank – left
Set your timers for 35s work/15s rest and go through the circuit 3 times for a total of 20 minutes – weights are optional. I guarantee you will feel the burn before you are even finished with your first round! But remember, you only get out what you put into your workout! So push hard, give it your all, and have a wonderful rest of your day knowing you crushed it!
* It’s always a good idea to warm up for a few minutes before diving into a workout. It warms your muscles which will help prevent injury.
