Do you ever have those days where you are getting ready for your workout and just think to yourself (or out loud) “this is not going to be a very good workout…”? And what usually happens? Well, not a very good workout – that’s what happens. The same thing happens when you tell yourself something bad will happen. Or that you’re going to have a bad day – typically that’s exactly what occurs. You think it. You believe it. Therefore, “it” happens. Fitness doesn’t get excluded from this type of thinking. It is SO important to remain positive about your fitness and your workouts – just like everything else in life. Otherwise, you will find that they are never as good as you wish them to be.
Think positively. Tell yourself “I can do this” over and over and over again until your brain and body are on the same page. By doing this, you will be able to achieve not only a great workout, but many other goals and desires of success in your life. Get after it!
